While many businesses, governments, and organizations are turning to artificial intelligence to help with work efficiency, what are the long-term effects?
I don’t have any children, but I am thankful I grew up in the 60s and early 70s when real friendships and relationships were built with real people in the real world.
Am alittle older than you. Husband army career was in V.Nam 69th armor div. I knew several killed over there. I worked w/ a gal five kids, husband killed over there. Friendships then were spontaneous, when older people had common interests (golf, fishing, etc) and people were decent and courteous. Kids showed respect to teachers.
A.I. is used in newer cars or trucks to spy on owners. A voice came out of the dashboard when on the road. Something was said about wrong lane or something, said I drifted across the center line. A.I. supposedly listens to private conversations and may report things to insurance company. There was an article on Rutherford Inst. sometime ago on A.I.
MORE CONSTITUTIONAL PROPAGANDA THAT ULTIMATELY DOES NOT PROVE WHAT ANDREW MULLER CLAIMS IT DOES!
Idols die hard! In Acts 19, the Ephesians cried out for two hours "Great is Artemis [a false god] of the Ephesians!" For two solid hours! Well, America (tragically led by alleged Christians and patriots) has been crying out for 230-PLUS YEARS "Great is the Constitution of the Americans!"
There's only one moral standard by which everything (including the Constitution) is to be ethically evaluated: By Yahweh's unchanging morality as reflected in the Ten Commandments and their respective statutes and judgments. Anything else is merely fickle man's capricious humanism - that is man doing what's right in his own eyes, per Judge 21:25 - aka We the Peopleism.
When the Constitution is actually examined by the biblical standard instead of dead politicians' cherry picked quotations, it's found to be anything but biblically compatible. In fact, there's hardly an Article or Amendment that's not antithetical, if not seditious, to Yahweh's sovereignty and morality.
The constitutional framers' sins were of both commission and omission. The framers’ sins of commission are evidenced in that there’s hardly an Article or Amendment in the Constitution that’s not antithetical, if not seditious, to Yahweh’s sovereignty and morality.
Their sins of commission aside, the framers’ sins of omission—that is, their failure to establish government and society based upon Yahweh’s commandments, statutes, and judgments—alone sent America to the precipice of moral depravity and destruction she presently teeters on.
Ask the millions of infants slaughtered in their mothers’ wombs if the constitutional framers’ failure to establish government on Exodus 21:22-23 and Deuteronomy 27:25 didn’t lead to their annihilation?
There’s not one national problem in America today—criminal civil "leaders," government-financed in utero infanticide, sodomite “marriages,” Synagogues, Mosques, and Temples devoted to false gods dotting America’s landscape, international entanglements, America’s crumbling economy, runaway debt, and taxes on nearly everything, etc.—that cannot be traced back to the framers’ sins of omission.
"For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water." (Jeremiah 2:13)
For evidence that the Constitution itself is biblically seditious, see free online book "Bible Law vs. the United States Constitution: The Christian Perspective," in which every Article and Amendment is examined by the Bible, at https://www.bibleversusconstitution.org/BlvcOnline/blvc-index.html

Ted, you're missing so much of the big picture. The Founders didn't enumerate all the issues you raise—abortion, LGBTQ, etc.—in the constitution because they believed in individual self-government. The Constitution is simply a framework to protect the vision laid out in the Declaration of Independence and the Mayflower Compact, both of which honor God.
They didn't list every single moral issue imaginable in the Constitution because it would be unnecessary when most Americans believed in the Bible and governed their lives, families, neighborhoods, and communities accordingly. I encourage you to do some study into what the Founder’s original vision was. Read the words of the Pilgrims. I’d recommend to you “Of Plymouth Plantation” by William Bradford, the Pilgrim’s governor. The National Monument to the Forefathers in Plymouth, MA., also speaks to the issues of self-government under the Bible… the true vision of America.
Actually, I you're the one missing the bigger picture. As I said, the framers' sins were of both omission and commission. And because they did not specify God's morality (as codified in His moral law) as government and society's standard (on both the state and federal levels), America finds herself today on the precipice of moral depravity and destruction: Not to mention that there's hardly an Article or Amendment that's not antithetical, if not seditious the Yahweh's sovereignty and morality.
"[B]ecause they have ... trespassed against my law ... they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind...." (Hosea 8:1, 7)
Today's America is reaping the inevitable ever-intensifying whirlwind resulting from the wind sown by the constitutional framers and fanned by today's hoodwinked Christians and patriots who have been bamboozled into believing today's whirlwind can be dissipated by appealing to the wind responsible for spawning the whirlwind.
Self government!?! Gee, what could go wrong with such a humanistic notion? Aka government of, by, and (allegedly) for the people, juxtaposed with government of, by and for God, such as in the early 1600s governments. Google the 1639 New Haven, Connecticut Agreement/Constitution for its stark biblical contrast with the 1787 humanistic, secular Constitution the framers concocted. For a partial quotation of the same, see Chapter 3 of "Bible Law vs. the United States Constitution: The Christian Perspective" at https://www.bibleversusconstitution.org/BlvcOnline/blvc-index.html
I have absolutely no qualms with you or anyone else when it comes to America's early 1600's biblical roots. But it is a huge mistake, with horrific consequences, to apply that to the 1787 cadre of Enlightenment and Masonic theistic rationalists, who were neither Deists in the purest sense of the word, nor Christians in the biblical sense of the word. They were instead a combination of both influences, best depicted as theistic rationalists.
The Declaration of Independence is no more biblical than is the Constitution and anti-Christ Thomas Jefferson's generic God and Creator is NOT the God of the Bible, not according the Apostle John in 2 John 1:7-11.
I would love to send you (or anyone else here) a complimentary copy of the 85-page "Primer" of "Bible Law vs. the United States Constitution...." I just need an address to send it to, which, for privacy, can be emailed me at tweiland@vistabeam.com.
Blessing to you as seek for truth as can only be determined by the Word of God!
If one relies on Artificial Intelligence they will have no intelligence themselves.
I would hate to be a kid again or even a young person. Glad we never raised a family.

The world truly is a different place than the one we grew up in.
Maybe there is something to that phrase.
The good old days.
