Christianity is fading across the free West—but exploding under persecution in China and Iran. Steve Deace and Newman ask why—and what it means for the future of Christianity and Western civilization.
This makes me want to re-new my subscription to the Blaze. Thank you for sharing.
I get annoyed with American Christians who don't realize there is a worldwide Church outside the borders of the USA. May God continue to use it for His Glory!
Yes, I started my PhD in Contextual Theology where we particularly looked at statistics in the Global South. Have no fear about the US however, the stats show that numbers are increasing, just not in mainline denominations. Great article.
Christianity, in the West, is dying because the people have been conned to believe Jesus is GOD...thereby, usurping GOD'S authority. Jesus is NOT GOD. Jesus was sent here to TEACH. Jesus was sent here to teach righteousness. Jesus DID NOT create all living things. Jesus DID NOT create the Heavens and the Earth. GOD DID!! Christians need to get back to praying to GOD...NOT TO JESUS. Christians can thank the Satanic Zionist Vatican for derailing the Christian religion...
Why would any man in the west be a Christian Alex? I renounced my Christian religion in 2008 at the age of 44. I want nothing to do with Christians. They are the most vile and disgusting liars and hypocrites in the world.
I'm a Christian and the cops were bragging back in the 1970's about the 28 times I was shot but how can I stay dead with the resurrection power of Jesus pulsing through me? NOT!
Neither Christianity nor western (Roman) civilization deserve to survive because they are both based on lies. Christianity is a solar worship cult that has nothing to do with Christ or christ consciousness. Western civ is the antithesis of universal natural law and will go down in flames as it should.
What a shame we’re taking about primitive myth-based philosophy when Ayn Rand’s Objectivism is available as a reality and reason-based alternative.
Both fiction and non-fiction can be valuable — not knowing the difference is a serious problem.
Read Hans Christian Anderson’s story: The Emperor’s New Clothes. Every kid should be taught it to learn about intellectual independence and respecting one’s mind at the most basic level.
Read Ayn Rand’s two essays on what made America great in the first place: Man’s Rights and The Nature of Government. They can be found in her collection of essays on politics: Capitalism The Unknown Ideal. Understand Capitalism is about freedom of action, not the mixed economy mess we see in government today. Understand that individual rights are about freedom of action and not about a right to the product of another person’s labor, which would make them our slave.
Read Ayn Rand’s collection of essays on ethics: The Virtue of Selfishness. Where selfish is carefully chosen to counter the unquestioned, destructive ethics of altruism. This definition of selfish has zero implication of disrespecting others, but rather is about profoundly respecting yourself and your values. And it’s about respecting every other person’s right to the same. Altruism in contrast gives you no moral credit for doing things for your wellbeing only others. Think how nuts that is. What is the motivation of people promoting such a self-destructive ethic? And how has it become so embedded in our culture? Could it be instilling or not teaching how to think?

Yikes! Crazy talk.
and the the Christians are the ones getting blown up
Western world believe that they are living in heaven so they don’t Need JESUS!
Great deal of insight here, thanks.
Regarding the article, Why Christianity is flourishing in repressive societies, and declining in the free world.
Perhaps in those societies, people are not bombarded by a treasonous media, and anti-Christian visuals, as we are here in the USA.
