All by design. Banks can’t make money off we homeowners who worked 40 to 50 years to be debt free. Property taxes are just straight up UN - American.

Are we getting $1 trillion in decent returns on that education spending? Hardly. Id' say about $1.57 for every $10 spent. What are we getting in return for paying taxes? Things like thousands of Salamis getting filthy rich...just for starters.

The river of taxpayer money soiled by theft and grifting is likely 50% for every dollar collected. The deficits are what we pay for the theft and grifting by the DC Cesspool and state governments, also in on the act.

Education has become a racket—a huge moneymaker—from pre-K through college! I’ve known homeschool parents who spent less for a child’s entire K-12 education than public schools spend for just one year of a child’s education. And a homeschool education is generally superior.

Thankful for your work, honestly you are one go getter. I can't buy anything from anyone because of fraud and can no longer can use credit or debit cards . Really love books and especially the ones I can rarely afford ' old books.' Thank you for your great work, I am so encouraged by your support for decades of uncompromising investment into your children and ours, not enough to say thank you!

Another strategy as you say to own nothing and not be happy. More coming…

We’re up to almost $8,000/yr. for property taxes in Austin, Tx.! My home town. Born & raised for 58 yrs.! We are leaving. Taxes are killing us. Peace out Texas! Goodbye to the drought too. No water, too many data centers sucking us dry. No rain, massive drought besides a huge flood once per year, extreme heat, and tons of traffic! Lack of real seasonal weather patterns. Gotta go! Where we’re headed, property taxes will be $1,800/yr. for 59+ acres, a main house, pool, tiny home, another tiny home, two barns, chicken coop, and gardens galore! Already set up! No drought. Hard to pass this up, so we’re moving. Makes me kinda sad to see Austin being destroyed.

Don't keep me in suspense. Where is this paradise you are moving to?

Yes - tell us Denise! Wyoming? Idaho?

Not to mention the Islamic takeover in Texas. I wish you all the best in your new home. Good on you!

Exactly - I have family in Austin and it is outrageous - yet people keep moving there! I used to love going to Austin - great concerts, great food, easy small airport. No more - now I cuss at it as I drive on 183 or Mopac.

Wow. I have friends in the greater Boston. If it wasn’t rude I’d ask what they have to pay.

Congratulations and best wishes in your new location.

Property taxes are funding the Education Dept's pensions and most likely being laundered. The Dept of Education needs to be disbanded. Sachs Realty on yt did an interview with a man a few months ago who has filed a case with the DOJ against the Dept of Ed.

We own our home debt free and yet if we don’t pay our property taxes each year the govt can take it away from us so we’re effectively renting our home from the govt. TX has made some progress in lowering those taxes but the bloat in education must be corrected! We homeschooled 9 children and so paid for a system we didn’t even use plus paid for our own curriculum and supplies. Grateful we could afford to do that and avoid the indoctrination in public schools!

Alex, if you haven't already, please interview Mitch Vexler on this issue. He has done extensive research into Property Tax abuse by municipalities and school districts conspiring to manipulate the appraisal process fraudulently and illegally. What he presents is shocking. I am interested in your opinions on what he has to say.

Thank you for saying his name. The video I referred to is on Sachs Realty and was posted 19 months ago on property overvaluations.

Another compelling argument for school choice. Parents should be given vouchers to use for whatever educational options for their children they prefer: public, private, home, religious, or cyber. If public schools are so good, then the teachers unions should approach the capital markets and finance teacher buyouts of existing public schools, which would compete with other options as private institutions. The proceeds from the buyouts would go to the taxpayers.

Come on, let’s be fair. It takes a lot of money to brainwash and groom K-12 students with trans, LGBT, DEI, white oppression, climate, and anti-America curricula. 😉

Trump, rather than disposing the evil corrupt treasonous rulers in blue states, has instead defunded the people who have nothing of their [Snap] food. The voters will remember this.
